Previous Challenge Entry (Level 2 – Intermediate)
Topic: Mercy (01/15/26)
When I was high school, I was punched in the head a few times by a guy who walked by me. I did not do anything at all. Another guy hit me in the back, and I often came home crying. My parents got sick of me complaining about it. My mother thought that I took things seriously. Well being punched is serious!

I knew that God was on my side, those guys who bullied me said,
"Jesus does not like you," or "The Devil loves me." I knew that Satan does not love at all. I knew that was not true. Sometimes, I was afraid to attend classes with these guys, but I came to class with them anyway.

When I entered grade 12, I felt like committing suicide because a couple of other guys bothered me about Jesus not likin me, and I tried to ignore it. Anther thing is because of my learning problems, and failing biology, I did not feel good about myself. At least my parents were not mad about that. When I took the second exam in math in grade 11, I failed it. I was good in math until grade 10. I felt suicidal then as well, so I drank some of my parents wine. I did graduate high school. I passed my other subjects, though.

When I was in a vocational program, I felt great that I was no longer bullied or threatened in any way. I did well working in a hospital as a cleaner, and a Kitchen Helper in a vegan restaurant. Even through my challenges, I knew that God was merciful to

This hurts my heart. I understand how self-doubt and pain can make a person feel despondent. You drew me in with that. I'd love more details about how God helped you through and how the MC was able to grant mercy to their tormentors. You did a nice job of writing on topic and delivered an important message.
