At times like this, one must be intentional about showing God's grace and pass it on to the offender. By showing love and kindness, we are sincerely Christlike. You see the Word of God tells us in: (Romans 12:17) Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. We should aspire to do the opposite by recognizing that paying back evil for sin falls directly into our laps. Even if your enemy never repents, forgiving them will free you from carrying around a heavy load of bitterness in your future. Another verse (Romans 12:19) Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, " VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY," says the Lord. Hidden Forgiveness is not an option; say it and believe it.
What an antidote for revenge; we all must be intentional about this. Never forget that prayer changes things.

It’s a very important point you are making about words and forgiveness. One small thing you used the word “nonextant” I think you may have meant “nonexistent”. Thank you for sharing.
