to overshadow the dark
To show even with darkness
There is always hope
The dark can overwhelm us
and make us feel lost
But with the light
of Jesus we can prevail
Darkness has no power
over us because of the
love and strength of
the heart of Jesus
Where is your power darkness?
Where is your sting?
You can not overtake us
You can never win
Sadness, loneliness, and fear
are apart of life
They can present much
darkness and hopelessness
But we have the light
of the resurrection!
We have the light of
the son of God!
Not only do we have
the light but we
even become stronger
when we walk through the darkness
We learn how to depend on Jesus
We learn we cannot handle
trials on our own
We realize our human limitations
We become more aware
of the compassion of Jesus
We become stronger in faith
We learn to trust
We may never know
why there is so much sadness
or why terrible things happen
That is why we need faith
We will never be
without hope and love
Even with the cross
we will always have joy!
Because of our belief
that even when we travel
in darkness, we will
have the wonderful light of Jesus
