Your vivid descriptions take the reader to England with your grandmother. Well done.
I love your story. I'm ready to read more of it. I want to know what Emma looked like; what sort of things did she talk about to her daughters? What does the glass slipper look like? Do you hold it in your hands, held up high to the light and look through it? Do you see colors reflected in it? What happened to the other one? (I don't want to know that it just got lost, I want to hear a story about it.) You have lots of material to work with. I think I would call it Emma of the Mews. Great job of descriptions. Gets a person wondering.

This material would be good for a romance story set in that time. You could get together with an historian to work out the smaller details.
