A very sweet poem. It should be the anthem of every teacher, kindergarten through college! I am married to an educator and I know that he prays, not just to get through the day but also that the students will learn and grow while in his charge. Nicely written.

Melineze, this really was a prayer that every Christian teacher would relate to - straight from the heart. Unfortunately, it was way under the word count for the writing challenge. The minimum count is 150 words, and your entry came in at just 68 words. I hope you'll keep entering the Challenge. You aren't the first person to miss the guidelines about word count. Just keep them in mind when you write your entries - 150 minimum and 750 maximum. With love, Deb (Challenge Coordinator)
