We are full of pride, and we are divided.
We have stumbled and we have fallen.
Help us to unite as one.
One nation – under God.
In this our hour of need, help us to turn to You.
And as we humble ourselves and pray, and turn from our wicked ways, hear us, and draw near to us…and heal us.
Heal our land, Lord Jesus.
Help the Church, Lord.
It is Your Church, and we have strayed from You.
We have taken the focus away from You, and put it on ourselves.
For we have turned Your house into a house of entertainment and self-fulfillment.
Help us to turn in back into…a house of prayer.
A house where You and You alone are the focus. Where You and You alone receive all honor, and glory, and praise.
Heal Your Church, Lord Jesus.
And Help me, Lord.
For I am full of pride.
And I am the one who enters Your house expecting to be entertained.
I am the one who needs to be humbled, and to turn from my wicked way, and to seek Your face.
For if I do not submit my whole being to You, to Your will and purpose, then this nation will not turn toward You, and the Church will stay as it is today.
Let the fire that I once new burn in me again.
Fresh fire. Consuming fire.
Your fire.
Send revival, Lord…and let it begin in me.
Heal me, Lord Jesus.
