His Lord was going away, it was for more than a day.
He’s receiving a kingdom, from a far land kingdom come.
To see who’s faithful and true, gave his servants things to do.
To watch over what he had, and citizens that are bad.
To see if he was stable, to each as he is able.
Each to his ability, or his liability.
For his Lord he is on fire, each trading to his desire.
To help them as a debtor, most trading for the better.
All but one who was afraid, he did not want to go trade.
Was not like the rest of them, hid what his Lord gave to him.
From his trip the Lord returned, went to see what they had earned.
Now some servants were fervent, a good and faithful servant.
Being strong and not brittle, being faithful in little.
So, to be in their Lord’s joy, one the Lord will not destroy.
He that hid his in the earth, failed to realize the worth.
Wicked and slothful servant, the Lord is observant.
He who has shall be given, an abundance for livin’.
He who has not loses all, we all need to hear God’s call.
Open ears and open eyes, hear and see without disguise.
And where I want not to be, counted as an enemy.
Then it will be darkness with screaming and gnashing of teeth.
The lake of fire forever or what Christ Lord Jesus did bequeath.
