Topic: MARRIAGE (08/25/16)
Marriage is a training session for us, and it’s also one of God’s most gorgeous grand displays. Our Creator loves to use things in our earthly lives to show us who He is and who we are supposed to be. The institution of marriage represents the holy union that we will have with God in Heaven. We will be married to Him at that time, so the need for the earthly marriages will no longer be necessary (Matthew 22:30). Those unions are mostly just a means for the male and female to multiply legitimately. Additionally, they are training tools that show us how we are supposed to love our Lord.

Men should love their wives as Christ loves the body of believers Ephesians 5:25). Women should reverence their husbands (Ephesians 5:33 KJV) almost like they reverences God, but without crossing the borderline of idolatry. Those tiny glimpses of jealousy, protectiveness, romance and nurturing that we see between husbands and wives: They are the tidbits of God’s nature that He wants to reveal.

Neither husband nor wife should ever break the covenant with the other person. The two should remain together until the end. Marriages teach us lessons in commitment, faithfulness, respect, and honor. They are supposed to be beautiful previews of our forever time to come, but sin often smudges the looking glass.

A good devotional on the relationship between God and man through the covenant of marriage.

There were a few grammatical errors. Try to separate the time you spend writing from the time you edit, you'll see more.

I enjoyed having the references. That lets me know that it isn't all opinion.
