Topic: Write an INSPIRATIONAL article (11/27/14)
ASSENT', v.i. To admit as true; to agree, yield or concede, or rather to express an agreement of the mind to what is alleged, or proposed.

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:9-13)

I submit to you today that Salvation is by and with the heart, the actuality of it is our very core center, which is the Soul. We do as human beings also realize that we can experience heartache. If you have ever lost a loved one that you were close to, one that you loved with all your heart.
It’s a fact in science that the heart, the actual beating heart inside the body, goes through changes when grief is brought on for or by one reason or another. Truly it is the actual soul and a combination of many biological effects; none the less one can die from a broken heart.
Be that as it may, we hear of many folk now who offer salvation and a Heavenly home to others by the “rubbing” of shoulders, by being in the same vicinity or area as the other folk are – some call it evolutionary salvation. As stated, this means that the longer you stay around someone or in a particular group of people of some particular denomination or another – then you will be saved.
Some say that Communion and or the Sacrament save them, others declare putting on a uniform saves them and or fills them with the Holy Spirit…
I can list reason after reason and name after name of people, denominations and cults that claim salvation due to a particular cause or reason; However, this in all that it is, in each activity, statement, religion, denomination, and in each work attributed …. It’s all and only a Mental Assent –
Simply said, it’s all salvation of the Mind of a mere human being and there is no salvation in these folk, in their denomination, in their clothing, in their works- it just is not so, it cannot ever be the case and each soul that is alive, that has succumbed to these lies is headed to hell or they are there already.
Eternal damnation and eternal misery is their conclusion all because some lily livered, milquetoast had not the guts to tell then the truth.
But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep. The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.
(John 10:12-13)

Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(John 14:5-6)

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
(John 10:7-9)


The only way to Heaven and that glorious eternal dwelling place is through the blood of Jesus Christ. There is no other way, there is no Mental Assent that can get you there no matter what label is placed on it, no matter who your dad is, your mom, your grandmother or grandfather –
No matter what religious organization or affiliation you belong to…. There is nothing in this round world that can bring you where you need to be, other than Jesus Christ!

Much truth in this piece - truth all must grasp if they are to be saved.

I would have loved a bit more of a positive aspect to this, as the topic is meant to be inspirational.

You have a truth filled article here, with much depth and meaning, and well expressed.

While the Word of God is always inspiring, Inspirational is a specific genre. Jan and Debra do a great job of helping me to understand the specifics of these genres. I've been surprised a few times that there was more to defining a genre than I thought.

I too think it could have used a more uplifting approach, as defined by Jan in her writing helps for this genre.
