Lack of good judgement both were naive
Disobeying God they ate the fruit
Sin on mankind this act did impute
God was unreachable
Alone incapable of reconciliation.
Man had no hope,
Man was doomed,
But God had a plan for his creation of love
He would send His only Son
Down from heaven above
Victory one day would be won!
Turn back to God
Look to His Son
Repent and turn from sin
This is how reconciliation begins
Read your Bible everyday
This will keep you on the straight and narrow way
Put God first in all you do
He has promised to see you through
Don’t forget this simple task
Remember to pray and just ask
God has promised to answer your prayer
Just remember He is always there
Pray for other’s
Remember to forgive
Yeshua gave us a simple example of prayer
Follow it, you will never err
"Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen."
As I begin another New Year
Singing For auld lang syne, my dear
Shouting praise's full of cheer
Encouragement echo's in my mind
There is hope for mankind!
note:
"The Lord's Prayer "is truly the summary of the whole gospel." "Since the Lord...after handling over the practice of prayer, said elsewhere, 'Ask and you will receive,' and since everyone has petitions which are peculiar to his circumstances, the regular and appropriate prayer (the Lord's Prayer) is said first, as the foundation of further desires."
