Topic: BLUE (11/09/17)
Sometimes I feel so depressed that I feel like crying. When I go to the library, and find a good book to read, then I feel happy. When I read a book, I get so absorbed into the story that I am reading that nothing else distracts me. When things distract me such as dreadful thoughts like paying bills then I get so distracted that I can't focus on reading.



When things don't turn out like I expected then I get disappointed as well. For instance just like week my family and I almost had an apartment offered to us for the month January 2018. As it turned out somebody else signed the lease before we did. I told my self that God never meant for us to have that apartment at that time. We live in a townhouse where we lived for 13 years. I have to be patient before we could find the right apartment for us.



A couple of days later my husband and I looked at an apartment which was pretty run down. The floor were cracked, and the stove and fridge were covered with food stains. The bathroom was covered in black mold. I thought of how my daughter would feel if she were to live in that unit. We choose not to move into that unit.



At the present time, I have to lean on God, and see what His plan is for us whether we should move in the Spring or a bit later. I know that constant prayer would help.

This is full of honesty and raw emotions. I can definitely relate to feeling stressed and overwhelmed.

I'd urge you to ask someone to read your story aloud to you before you submit. If she stumbles, then you might need to tweak some sentences. It will also help you catch any mistakes or repeating too many words.

You've laid a great foundation for a powerful devotion here. Keep writing and let God continue to guide you.
