Previous Challenge Entry (Level 1 – Beginner)
Topic: DAYDREAM (12/08/16)
Whenever I am writing a manuscript, I try to imagine what it would be like to have a book published, and have somebody sign it before they purchase my book.
Whenever I see dolphins swimming in the ocean, I try to think about writing a story about those creatures who are endangers in the water, and are confined to swimming in pools for entertainment such as "Marine Land."
Another example would be what it would be like if I were to write and illustrate a book about a girl with a cat who loved her pet, and it went missing, and at the end of the story she found it at her doorstep.
Another thought that I had was to publish a chapter book which I am presently working on very slowly. I try to imagine what it would look like when it is done, and how many copies I could make to interest readers into borrowing the library or buying the book in various stores.
I have written a few children's books. I sent a copy to the library, and another one to a school library called "Josh Goes To Kindergarten."
I illustrated another book, and I gave it to the church library where I attend on a weekly basis. I wonder if any of the children had read, and enjoyed it. The book is called "Charmaine's Pets." It talks about her love for animals even water creatures.
I am still daydreaming about publishing my chapter book, and I will still work on it.

I can certainly relate to your daydreams. I often picture my books becoming best sellers. I also like to write kids' books.

I'd urge you to expand even more on your story. Don't forget to use complete sentences and have a good proofreader. Another thing you could have done is write a children's story about a character who daydreams all the time. I've used the challenge prompts often to come up with ideas for stories.

Keep writing and read and comment on other stories. You definitely covered this week's topic. I look forward to reading more of your work.
