“But-“
“But nothing. I will finish and I will pass!”
“Why are you so determined about this?”
“Because it means everything to me. It’s my choice. It’s my future
and my goodbye to the past.”
“I know that you’re trying hard, but what if you fail?”
“Short term failure I can live with, I’d just try harder.”
“I can't see God in this.”
“How could you not? He’s given me this opportunity to finish my degree, 10 years after I should have. Isn’t that enough?”
“I guess that I worry because you’re working so hard and only just passing each subject. What if teaching is too hard with your difficulties?”
“Difficulties? Difficulties? Call it what it is Mum. I’m blind. It’s perfectly okay to say that I’m blind. Please don’t call my blindness a difficulty. This is the hardest thing that I've ever done but it’s not going to stop me.”
“But you don’t even know if a school would accept a blind teacher? Even if you do pass.”
“Mum. I don’t have to. I believe that God wants me to be a teacher and all I have to do right now is concentrate on each subject; one at a time. I’ve got that special consideration so I have my own schedule. God is with me, I know he is.”
“Oh Sweetheart, I’m sorry. I do want what is best for you, what God wants for you, but I get scared for you when it’s so hard. I shouldn’t have been so harsh. I need to take my worries to Him instead.”
“Mum, it’s okay. I know you worry and I’d be sad if you didn’t but it will work out. I’m not sure exactly how, but it will.”

This is not criticism, just another viewpoint, or some brainstorming. Other possible titles: "Never Giving Up" "I'll Never Give Up" "Vision of Hope" Vision for the Future."
I don't know if blindness touches your life closely, but if so, you may enjoy my autobiographical poem in the challenge a few years back called "Kaleidoscope."
Good luck!
Glad to see you in the challenge:)
My only red ink would be that since you had room to create a more developed and awesome ending, I would have enjoyed enjoyed learning of some fruit of her labors, perhaps a potential student of hers that went on to become the Dr. who discovered the cure for cancer-- something like that.
The MC should never give up her dream.
