We start at the shallow end.
Our feet are rarely wet. We are children.
Barely understanding what we see.
It’s the ‘sand dune’ times.
We scamper and frolic with friends
And laugh a lot.
Later on; a youth!
Maybe college with a job and responsibilities
Now we are definitely in the stream.
Our many friends carry weight with us.
Parental hold may recede as we move away.
Remember your Creator.
Middle years beckon.
We are in deeper.
Life has changed. We are up to our knees or necks.
We play multiple roles; parent, wife, husband, provider and friend.
The world is changing but God has not!
Life’s horizon is seamless.
We are propelled by The Unseen Hand of God.
So stay in His Stream.
Storms may arise.
There will be losses and harder days may come. His Joy is our Strength.
The Anchor holds from the shallows to the deep end of life.

Excellent work!
God bless~
Good job! The ending verse was my favorite. Thanks for sharing!
Well written and easy to follow.
It is always good to make Jesus our Lord early in life so we follow his leading. We can start, though, at any time by obeying what Peter commanded us to do so we are given the gift of the Holy Spirit to guide us.
