Topic: Hard and Soft (04/23/09)
I am here again Lord.
Trying hard to understand.
Why has this happened?
Is this all part of your plan?

Is it something I have said?
Is it a decision I have made?
Tell me, have I displeased you?
Please help me Lord I pray.

I feel so hurt and so lost.
I just can’t comprehend.
Why has this happened,
To my womb once again?

I see others every day,
Who mistreat their little ones!
My mind is so confused.
My heart has come undone!

You know my every thought.
You know my every way.
Is there something in me Lord,
That I can't see portrayed?

Please Lord hear my prayer!
And please answer my plea!
I' m crying out to you!
Lord! Please comfort me!

Out of nowhere I hear a voice
Speak so softly in my ear
“Be not troubled my child,
I will calm your fears.”

His peace, it overwhelms me!
I am drawn to his holy word.
Between the lines, I find comfort.
My faith again is stirred!

How could I doubt the Master?
He’s my Lord and my salvation.
Though this war rise up against me,
He is my firm foundation!

So while this trial is hard.
I still find reason to rejoice,
Because even in my hard times,
I can hear his still, soft voice.

Hi Amie. I just wanted to leave a quick note to let you know your entry, My Heartfelt Plea, actually did very well in the Hard and Soft Challenge. Although you didn't receive an award, you made it into the Highest Rankings for Level 1, placing 6th in that Level. There were a lot of entries this week, and competition in Level 1 is always very intense, so well done.
