TITLE: Sisters. | Previous Challenge Entry

The older sister was name Jane, and she had a sister who was a couple of years younger by the name of May. May was a very shy girl,and had a few friends whom she hung around with at school. Other times May went to the library or the stuy hall by herself.
Jane was very out-going, and had a lot of friends who swarmed around her in the hallway in between classe time. One day Jane was invited with her friends to a slumber party, but Jane's younger sister, May wasn't invited at all. May felt left out, and she cried herself to sleep. Jane said,
"You better do something else. You have to make more friends you know."
May became upset, and she spoke with her mother about the fact that she wasn't invited to the slumber party.
The next day the Jane and May's mother had a talk with Jane, and said,
"If May isn't invited then you can't go."
Jane phoned up one her friend, Carin who were invited to the slumber party, and asked her sister May could come. She told Jane that she can't invite anybody else because there were to many girls going. Jane said,
"My sister should be allowed to come. She's only one more person. What difference does it make?"
This girl said,
"Look, I'm sorry. I got to go. Besides I think that May is too shy to come."
Jane had a difficult decision to make. If she went, and left May at home, then she would feel left out. The next day, May phoned Carin, and said,
"I'm sorry, Carin, but I can't make it to the party."
Carin was dissappointed in Jane that she couldn't come. Jane was disappointed that she wasn't coming either.
A few days before the slumber party was to take place, Jane had an idea.
Jane went to May's bedroom, sat on her bed, and asked her,
"Since we aren't going to the slumber party, then how about if we had one. Just you and I?"
May thought that was a good idea, so she said,
"I would be delighted."
Their mother made them some popcorn, put on some makeup, and listened to some music.
Jane did a good thing by listening to her conscience. God gave her a conscience as well as everybody else, but not everybody listens to it. If Jane chose to have gone to Carin's slumber party then she would have felt guilty for leaving her sister at home.
