Previous Challenge Entry (Level 1 – Beginner)
Topic: Illustrate the meaning of “Don’t Try to Walk before You Can Crawl” (without using the actual phrase or literal example). (01/17/08)
Never before had she felt so strong. In days gone by her weakness had corrupted her soul. Now standing in front of her church all past doubts shrunk away.
Looking back on her treacherous past only gave her further hope in the future. Being a believer since childhood was always part of God’s plan. The love of Christ that was in her heart as a child was a precious gift. Always desiring to serve the Lord was part of her. She knew that it was important to spread the word of Christ to everyone and she was ambitious in this venture. However, she had not taken the time to actually study the Word. She knew that Jesus’ love was for everyone and when she tried to reach out to someone the enemy was waiting.
He knew her weakness was simply her youth and immature knowledge of the Truth. God allowed this attack to take place. Of course at the time of battle she was unaware of the reason for it. She was asked questions she had no answers for. The unanswered questions led to the Deceiver winning this battle.
Dark thoughts crept into her mind as the knife pierced through her flesh. Seeing the blood she was reminded that she was human and could cry. God did not allow this battle to be her demise. Her questions remained unanswered at this time. Her faith in the world had been lost but her faith in Christ returned.
Desperately she cried out to the Lord to once again return and He answered her cries. Wings of an angel surrounded her broken body and a brilliant light was cast upon her soul. Though she had always been a Christian, she had never been able o stand on the Rock that God had provided.
Standing in the sanctuary she was reminded of her strength through Christ. She proudly proclaimed her journey to the Rock. Only through her days as an infant believer was God able to allow her to grow. Her feet will be forever planted in the Truth, which is Jesus Christ.

Interesting analogy! Very descriptive.
It will help the reader to leave an extra space between paragraphs.

It took me a little bit to pick up on the tone of the piece, but the message is very comforting--even the weak will be strong in Christ in the end. Thank you!
