Suddenly someone taps on his shoulder. Stephen turns around and sees a student his age smiling at him. ¡§What does he wants?¡¨ Stephen thinks. What would he do?

¡§Sorry man, I don¡¦t know you.¡¨ Stephen said then walks away.
Weeks pass and summer begins, but Stephen has not made any friends. He spends his summer in his room emailing his old friends back home, reading about all that he would enjoy if they haven¡¦t moved. This made him even more difficult to open up when next year begins.

¡§How¡¦d you doing friend?¡¨ The student hands him a flyer.
¡§What¡¦s this?¡¨ Stephen asks and looks at the flyer. On top it reads: Do You Need a Friend?
¡§Hi, name¡¦s Jake. This is an invitations to a special event hosted by our school club called JIFE.¡¨
¡§The Jiffy club?¡¨ Stephen chuckles.
¡§Yeah, it stands for ¡¥Jesus Is For Everyone¡¦ and today¡¦s the last day, so don¡¦t miss out. There will be games and prices, and not to mention you can take away an ultimate gift away.¡¨
¡§Thanks.¡¨ Stephen nods as he tucks the flyer in his jacket and continues his way.
During class, his mind couldn¡¦t wonder off about this flyer. He has been to church before, but it wasn¡¦t fun to him, and none of his friends goes there. It could be lame. The clock is getting close to three.

Stephen read the flyer that the club is hosting this in the school¡¦s cafeteria. He peaks in through the glass window on the door. Some are gathered in a circle and some taking snacks from the refreshment table.
He takes a deep breath and walks in. He recognizes several faces there, a classmate name Peter and Jake. He looks around and finds a seat and sits down as more people are coming in.
As the event begins, Peter and Jake went up and lead several songs. For one of the song Jake said that it sings about lonely people in the city need the Lord. Then there was the Family Feud-like game where they had survey what the general public knows about God. Afterward, a man who was introduced by the host as a pastor came in front. He spends 20 minutes talking about who Jesus is, and who we are, and what we need.
During the pastor¡¦s long speech Stephen looks around and sees some people are beginning to leave. The atmosphere seems to be getting heavy, and people don¡¦t want to hear about being a sinner needing salvation, and Stephen begins to think whether he should leave as well.

The bell rings and Stephen stands up. As he exits the classroom, he takes the flyer out from his pocket and deposits it in the trash can.
Walking home he wonders what was happening in that club. He shakes his head, and decides not to think about it for the rest of the term. There are plenty of others to befriend with.

Stephen hides himself with the leaving crowd.
¡§That was so boring!¡¨ One student complained, ¡§Who needs Jesus?¡¨
Stephen looks behind, and wonders if he had done the right thing. Then another student recognizes Stephen in his class and offers him to hang out. Stephen¡¦s heart lightens up, and went with him.

Stephen stays to listen as more students leave, but the more he listens, the more he didn¡¦t realize the people around him thinning out. He heart felt something was moving him inside. At the end, the pastor asks if anyone is willing to accept Jesus into his heart, let Him be his best friend forever as a Savior and Lord. Stephen closes his eyes to pray.
