In fact, looking at the sun is what allows it to fly so high. When it takes its eyes off the sun it falls to the ground.
Living the Christian life is like the Eagle's Secret. When we look directly at the face of the Son of God we can mount up with wings like an eagle.
However, when we take our eyes off the Son our fall is like the Eagles, swift,
quick, and sure.
I learned this in a very real and practical way.
I was a music major in college, but for years I had struggled with stage-fright
which affected my performances in a very negative way.
When I came to the end of my senior year in college I had to perform a solo
recital to complete the requirements for my degree.
This was what I had prepared for for four years, but the same terrible fear came upon me as I contemplated the night of my recital.
I decided to fast and pray until the day of the recital.
For eleven days I prayed, fasted and read the Word of God.
The night before the recital I decided I should break the fast.
The day of my recital came and time to dress came and went and I was still terrified. I made the decision that I wasn't even going to go to my own recital.
I went to bed and covered up my head.
No, I definitely wasn't going to go to the recital even though many invitations had been sent out and programs had been printed.
As I lay there still terrified at the thought of the night's performance, the Lord Jesus brought to my mind some verses from the Book of Joshua in the Old Testament.
I remembered that when the Children of Israel got to the river Jordan they had to put their feet into the water before it dried up.
I realized I was at my "river jordan" and God wouldn't work a miracle for me until I took a step of faith and put my foot into the water.
I arose from my bed of fear, and began dressing. From the moment I arose, all fear left me.
I went to the recital and sang without a trace of fear.
The most critical music professor I had, said, "You outdid yourself"
I should've said, no, it wasn't me, it was the Lord Jesus Christ through me.
The Eagles secret of faith works in any problem situation we find ourself.

A few things you might want to change: "eagle" should not be capitalized, and the very short paragraphs gave this a choppy read. Think about maybe combining some of them to make your piece flow.
It's a great story of God's overcoming grace!
