Today is the day that I will take my box out to the lake where I can partake in something great.
Will you come with me as I walk the path that lies ahead? Will you come with me as I look ahead of what I will see beyond the pier?
It's this day that I was waiting for and it's today that will change my fate.
Before today, I was filled with fear. Before today, I was filled with anger, resentment, even jealousy. Things that I hid deep within, things I never wanted to feel but did. Things as these can only hold you tight within it’s grip that squeezes your breath away. It fills your mind with senseless thoughts that can lead to actions that prevent you from living. Living a life filled with joy, peace, love and from all things from above. It’s such things as these that I wish to let go. Letting go will take me to a place where I can enjoy life as it should be. A place where nothing can tear me down, or wear me down. A place that I can run, dance, sing and laugh. A place where I can see beyond the darkest path. Life will be like a river that will flow freely from every direction. A river that never will run dry, but will fill me to the rim. That is overflowing with goodness and grace hidden deep within. The lake is the place to go when you need a lifting. Will you come with me to this beautiful lake where I can partake in something great?
Will you come with me as I walk this path that will no longer be dark but will be so bright that you will not need any light? I have my box and I’m ready for the walk, so come with me to this lake so I can share with you something great. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll see that you will want to partake in this great day. So today is that day for me and it could be that day for you if you would only come with me. Are you ready for the walk that lies ahead? Don’t worry about taking your box because I already have one and there is more than enough for both of us. Will you come with me?

Be careful of use of second person in the 4th paragraph--there's almost always a better way to write that sort of passage.
