Traumatic, his suit was heavy with safety gear that was standard for someone like him. In all his time with the station he would not have ever dreamed that this day would be such an ordeal.
With in an hour of being called into work he found himself climbing higher and higher to reach the floors above the damaged area. People running by as fast as they could some bleeding from their wounds and in a daze,
It is so hard to understand the pain that someone can impose upon someone else and act as if nothing is wrong, but he had to continue up to help as many that could not make it on their on power,
It was at that moment he began to see the carnage that was caused by the airplane that struck the tower.
It was beginning to tell on him the anguish and pain that the people were going thru and steel he had to stay focused on what he was there to do.
To be what he had dreamed from early childhood to now had come true,
He was a fire-fighter in every since of the word and helping his fellow man out of harms way was his mission in life. If only there were more like him then maybe the suffering would not be as great and long lasting, for it takes
Men and women that love people to train and work as hard as they do to do there best job and that is to save lives, and to me that is one of the greatest callings one could have
