At my Saviors feet I, prostrate, lay.
This burden carried far too long a time
Lifted- I am free- ‘tis no longer mine.
At the cross my debt was paid
No longer wasting in my sinful grave.
The tears once stained my grief-stricken face
I wandered, lonely, in a forsaken place.
At the cross- now I am loved
Made anew, my life in Christ has begun.
Lost in the wilderness- forgotten and alone
‘twas Satan’s lie- All the while Christ was calling me home.
At the cross He called me by name
Before the beginning of time my life was ordained.
This joy, a spring of life, flowing through me
Because the Son has set me free- I am free indeed.
At the cross through grace we have victory
Life by faith with our Father shall we live for eternity.
I will forever cherish that cross on the hill
For my soul weepeth not- I am Spirit-filled.
