As a child, you never think, “Where did I come from? Where am I going?” You just simply are, no questions asked.
Life is often under-valued.
When you have children of your own, busyness, joy and pain run amok through your life; too tired, you fall into sleep without thinking about life’s meaning.
Life sometimes seems worthless.
One day they are gone, perpetuating the never-ending circle of life. They have children of their own; and their children have children. Oh, how you want to save your offspring from having to learn Life’s lessons the hard way. Sometimes they listen, sometimes they don’t. All you can do is watch a replay of your own life played against the whitewalls of theirs.
Life is truly grand when you know you are loved.
Perhaps by then some wisdom has permeated your soul. Somewhere along the way you learn to pray. You assimilate through your pores, there is a God. That’s the answer to the unasked questions, “Where did I come from? Where am I going?”
When you perceive it, it is nearly indiscernible, yet strikes an affirmative chord deep down inside. There is an adrenalin rush; the birth you come to know as the river of Life. It begins as a trickle that tickles your taste buds, offers a feeling of completion and a satisfaction that quenches your thirst.
John 7:37, 38 “Jesus said, if any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
Come drink the water regularly, and that spiritual flow builds into a thunderous water fall. Strength arises like a Phoenix from the ashes and overcomes the tribulations in your world. Its source is from the throne of God and speaks of an unimaginable outpouring of indescribable Love; the precise essence of Life. They are two and they are inseparably one. One does not exist without the other.
Revelation 22:1 “And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God.”
When sleep evades you, questions find answers from the often dormant spirit within. “Wake up,” it says, “I’m here, look up, look in, and look out. Dance with me, sing in harmony, walk hand in hand. Run freely, rest peacefully, delight in Me, lean upon my everlasting arms. God in three persons, blessed Trinity, whispers, knocks, cajoles, hovers, protects, covers, and draws us to Himself.
God sent His Son. We call Him Jesus, and he imparted to us the essence of his Spirit. O, almighty God, who loves the little children, and their children and their children that follow.
There is only one message of wisdom required for us to pass on. Each new generation must hear in the depths of their being. You came from God and to Him you will return. The purpose of life is to learn this lesson. Your only worth is embodied in being loved by, and by loving, Him.
In Him we have life more abundantly.
John 10:10b Jesus said, “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
Life is rich and full when we become the object of His pleasure.
Revelation 4:11b “…for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
He made us in the secret places of the earth. He knows our frame.
Psalm 139: “My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
How do we come to know Him as deeply and intimately as He knows us? He wrote us The Greatest Story Ever Told. Its message is the substance of Life, like honeysuckle to the bee.
John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
It is invisible, yet known to the inner man. It is indivisible, and cannot be torn asunder. It is indescribable to the unanointed.
It is holy, irreproachable, undeniable, and intangible. As the great I AM, IT IS.
Live LIFE to the fullest, the gift He gave so abundantly!
