Severe storms brought loss
A wave called ‘poverty’
Followed by ‘no opportunity’
Rolled another roaring ‘failures’
Zoomed one threatening ‘mother’s seizures’
His murmuring mind muttered
‘Nothing to live for – you are wrecked
Enter the exit gate – commit suicide
This thought replayed and did reside
Bothering the brain of a young man
Satan stood saying, “Commit suicide worthless man”
Though frustrated, yet he fought
A inner battle without any help sought
Alas! Satan overpowered and fixed the thought
‘Commit Suicide’ you are my slave now bought
Heels took him fast to the railway rails
There did he plan to end all human frails
“Enter! Enter! Enter! – the exit gate”
Exclaimed Satan rejoicing at his fate
Before he could act upon the thought foreseen
God miraculously changed the scene
“What are you doing here? Young man”
Asked his uncle a very bold man.
Who expounded the compassion of Christ.
Following this, like deer his soul did thirst
The exit door became the entrance door
On inviting the Saviour who knocked his heart’s door
A vessel of honour he became
Now gladly holding the God-given frame
Proclaiming, “Enter this way”
Christ - the only way.
Through Him, my exit door became an entrance door
Believe me Christ is with you forever more

Thanks for sharing this. Love the way you painted the struggles of the young man from hopeless to hopeful. Keep up the good work, and be blessed!
