Help is on the Way

Throughout our lives we see people in need.
Struggling to make ends meet.
Some we give help to, some we walk by
For some all we can do is cry.


In everyday life we see God work. God helps us so often that sometimes we fail to recognize His touch in our lives. God loves us and wants to be our best friend. Even though you may not feel Him close to you, He’s there.

That is why it’s so important to help others when given the opportunity. It’s God seeing if we can return the favor. So what if it’s someone you don’t know. Is that person not a child of God whether or not he accepts Jesus?

Think of all the times you have needed help, from losing your keys to losing a loved one. Who do you turn to asking for help? No matter what God is there. Watching you, helping you find what you lost or felling your pain over who you lost.

So the next time you see someone in need, remember the last time you were in need. Was God not there with you? I know He was and always will be with me every step of my life. No matter if it’s in the right direction or not. God loves me and will help me. Just like He will for anyone who cries out to Him in need.

This is great: "It's God seeing if we can return the favor." I'd have liked your piece to stay more focused on that concept, or at least to return to it at the end. I've certainly been the recipient of such help, and I thank you for encouraging your brothers and sisters this way.
