I ‘sighed,’ and wandered into the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. I sat down to read the paper. I read for a short time and noticed a glare that came over the paper that blocked my view. I looked up with astonishment. I could not believe my eyes. The clouds were parting and letting the sun shine through. It was like heavens door had opened. It was a miracle. My outlook went from grim to joy in a matter of seconds. I jumped up so fast my chair went crashing to the floor. I didn’t care I had get to the window to see it. I had to feel the sun on my face and the warmth that it gives. As I was looking out the window I spotted a Robin digging in the dirt for a worm. I then noticed another bird land on the railing and she chirped a beautiful tune. Then off in the distance I saw a deer wander into the field to graze. It was like paradise. Life had started again.
As I watched the animals come out of their homes and live their lives. I thought the beauty that God created for us it so wonderful, and yes there will be days when we do not want to get out of bed. There will be challenges in life that we have to face, but if we put our trust and faith in God, our outlook will be grand. We will have peace in our hearts knowing that the “Light” is in front of us and not just around the corner.
So when I walked out the door and felt a cool wet drop on my face and I saw the clouds start to cover the sun, I just smiled, and said… “It’s going to be a good day.”

One small issue your sentence about watching the animals live their lives would have been better if you included the beginning of the next sentence. Then the second sentence could have continued with 'Yes.' That is probably as clear as mud.
Your writing is clearly gifted and inspired, good work.
