The day I discovered you were about to come into the world I knew you were going to be special. I would imagine in my mind what you would look like and who you would be.

Would your hair be straight or curly? Would it be brown or blonde? Would your eyes be brown or would they be blue?

I prayed that God would hold you safe in His hands and always watch over you no matter where your life would take you. Most of all I prayed that your heart would always be true to your Lord.

The day you finally arrived was full of excitement and overwhelming joy! I fell instantly in love with you the first minute I looked at you. You were perfect in so many ways.

Your beautiful little brown eyes were open wide looking at everything around you. You hardly made a sound as I watched you sleep those first few seconds. I was mesmerized by your precious, tiny little body and my overwhelming love for you.

I realized you were a special gift from God. I could imagine Him smiling down on you as you lay sleeping in my arms.

I could hardly find the words to thank my Heavenly Father for His loving gift to me. My little Princess.
