Have you ever considered what the face of the earth was like before God said, ‘Let there be light’?
Of course, no one knows for certain because there was no one there to record the fine details, but one would imagine that things were pretty cold.
That begs the question, of how cold did God let it get? I don’t know the answer to that question, nor do I believe anyone else does, but it takes me on conveniently to the matter of ‘Absolute Zero’. Did you know that God has arranged his physical creation so that it impossible
to take the temperature down any lower than minus two hundred and seventy three degrees celsius?. That’s 273 degrees below freezing point. In fact the experts ( but beware the experts)
tell us that if it were possible, strange things would begin to happen. Like electric currents flowing for ever, undiminished, around electric circuits. This implies the creation of infinite energy.Unfortunately, infinite energy would be required to lower the temperature to absolute zero, and since no one has infinite energy at their disposal, no one is better off. God himself could help us out, but in his infinite wisdom has not entrusted us yet with limitless energy.
When God created the lesser and greater lights and placed them in the firmanent of the heavens, he placed them and the stars in delicate balance, so that they did not use their
gravitational pull to collide with each other. Additionally, had the earth been a few miles closer or
further away from the sun, then it would have been too hot or too cold for life to exist and we would have become a dead planet. Funny how the evolutionists, an otherwise intelligent bunch, seem to think everthing happened by chance. They laugh at we primeval Christians. Where did that laugh come from anyway?. None of the animals seem to have it. Oh; silly me, I forgot the
hyenas.
Well you might be thinking, if we are not too close to the sun, what about global warming. Did God get that one wrong?. Well if what the scientists tell us is true ( and who really knows that, but other scientists ), yes, the world is heating up. But not because it’s too close too the sun. Man made chemicals are breaking down ozone ( a gas ) in the earth’s outer atmosphere, causing extra sunlight to get through and be trapped as heat at the surface of the earth - you know like a greenhouse; hence the term ‘Greenhouse Effect’. Thus the temperature goes up gradually
over the years making everyone hot and bothered. Not to mention down the road, melting icebergs and rising sea levels, giving everyone a thoroughly bad time.
I live down here in South West Florida. Ah; I hear you folks up north saying ‘ nice and hot’.Well, yes generally, but for the last two winters I’ve had to cover my plants with plasic because it has been too cold for them ( and for me ). Frost and ice and nasty freezing things.
What’s that I hear you say this time?. ‘Global Freezing’. Good point.......... I knew all along the scientists had it wrong.
