See God’s Wonders

It’s absolutely peaceful and serene here in these woods. Woods created by the hands of God. What do you think boys? How awesome are the works of the Lord.
Oh mommy, you are always saying things like that. Why do you think it’s so beautiful here? There’s just woods and stuff. What’s so special about all this?
Oh Sweetie, don’t you see, all this is because God just spoke, and it was. That’s how awesome God is. Do you understand what mommies saying?
I think so mommy, like when we learned in Sunday school about the book of Genesis and how God created everything in six days right?
That’s right sweetie. Billy what do you think? Do you understand what I mean? Everything that’s made by the Father is beautiful. As we camp here these two nights we must understand that where we are, is beautiful and it’s to be taken care of.
I understand Mrs. Johnson. We have to take care of the things everywhere. We can’t just throw trash everywhere right and be mean to the animals? Is that why we threw the fish back after we caught them?
Well, kind of Billy, but Mr. Johnson had you to throw those fish back because they were small, too small to eat anyway.
Just remember that everything God made is wonderful and special.
Just like us right mommy?
Yes Nate, just like us. And just like the friendship you and Billy have.
Thank you for bringing us here mommy and Daddy. We love camping, huh Billy.
Yeah, thank you Mr. and Mrs. Johnson.
Okay, daddy, what about you, and what do you like about camping?
Well son God is awesome. My thoughts go back to the day I was camped out at the hospital waiting for you to be born. That day I did say “how awesome are your works oh Lord” That’s day you came into our lives Nate.
Awe, dad that was neat. I do like camping.
Yeah, I love camping too son.
