A father, who stands so
straight and tall…..
Is comfort to his children,
one and all.
A father, whose hand reaches out when a tear is shed,
and gently awakes at the soft cry of his babe….
A tiny hand softly clasped, in the warmth of a father’s hand,
can be taught to spread the gospel of our Lord, throughout this land.
Their tiny body, mind and soul can be molded by a
father who stands so straight and tall.
A father who can teach them how to pray.
How to carry on a life by God’s word everyday.
A father, who can teach them of God’s only Son.
A father, whose work is never really done.
Our Heavenly Father who stands so straight and tall,
and is a comfort to his children, one and all.
