Having the same parent, by definition, would make you a sibling. Yet, I often wonder, are you required to make declaration of any sibling due to mere blood line? Is there an unspoken or secret written law that makes this a mandatory affair? Must I be viewed by association in birth? Where do I stand in this quandary?
By birth, I have a brother fifteen months my senior and a sister four years my junior; I am the middle sibling. In comparison, the personalities of my brother and sister resemble, respectively, the extreme difference between fire and ice. The direction of their lives is an exaggerated indication of these strong extremes.
Normal disputes and squabbles exist in the daily routine of a developing sibling’s youth. These adversities should by all means cause maturity, thus removing the intense inability to resolve the disputes and squabbles. Dare I say this was not the outcome?
I desire to paint the flawless picture of endearing days and events, this is not to be. To embellish details from my childhood leaves me an enormous sense of guilt. Maybe it is pain, or simple denial. In my efforts to analyze the “sibling” term, my arena of memories flood with unfavorable events.
The former cannot be altered, yet I refuse to replicate an incapacitating past within a future at my command. Declaration of blood line no longer determines the siblings, with whom I share, grow and mature. Relinquished obligation of exposure to the strong extremes has supplied freedom and healing.
Individual moments will be valued as if they are the last; words will be less harshly spoken. Invitations encouraging positive indications will be welcomed, while negative will be managed on neutral estate.
My stand is a quandary now resolved.

I suggest not putting too many 'unordinary' words in your sentences. It doesn't draw the reader along, but causes him to stop and re-read to be sure of your meanings.
