“Caron you will do as I say. No arguments.”
“But I don’t know him.”
“You don’t know him, yet. Besides he is a Christian and you know I want that for you.”
Caron turned and stalked outside. She saddled her horse and decided to go for a ride.
She couldn’t believe her father just chosen this man, a stranger. Her anger was as fiery as her hair and she kicked her horse into a gallop.
Not paying much attention she was startled when a man rode towards her and stopped. She looked up into his startling blue eyes. Why couldn’t daddy pick a man that looked like this?
He dipped his hat and spoke with a voice like warm velvet. “Excuse me Miss. Could you direct me to the McCain farm?”
“It’s along this road about two miles.” Caron pointed down the road to her home. What could this man possible want at their farm? The man smiled and rode off.
Caron sighed. If only her daddy would let her choose someone like that. Daddy didn’t trust her decisions after fancy pants Phillip had come to court her, and she couldn’t really blame him. She had brought him home to try and impress her father, but Phillip didn’t survive two days on the farm. Daddy would have been furious if he had known Phillip wasn’t a Christian either.
Riding back home Caron remembered the stranger’s blue eyes they had seemed so intense, like looking right inside you. He was probably now one of the hired hands that her dad had advertised for in town. She loved his eyes, they were amazing.
Caron came inside and saw the blue-eyed stranger sitting with her father. “Caron meet Adam Winters.”
Caron smiled, she would mind looking into those eyes for the rest of her life. “I’m Caron, your betrothed.”
Adam spoke in that soft voice. “Pleased to meet you.”
Caron felt shivers down her spine. Maybe daddy had made the right decision. Not all marriages had to be bad. With someone like Adam she knew it couldn’t be bad.
Caron set aside her brush and looked across at her husband of nine months. She put her hand on her stomach and felt the kick from her baby. Adam was the perfect husband. Not one she would have chosen.
Sometimes you had to just accept that sometime your daddy knew right. Always her Heavenly Father was right and had given her a wonderful gift even when she hadn’t wanted it. Things were never as bad as they seemed.

Watch your use of commas--there were some places that really needed one. And you may have tried to cover too much in just 750 words, so there wasn't much room for character development.
I could visualize every scene--this was fun.
