The first chapter flowed quickly.
The second took a little more time
Than the ideas started to fade
The chapters all lay in limbo
In the Microsoft Word bank of ideas
The poems at least one hundred and fifty
Written whenever emotions flow
Sadness, joy, trouble, temptations,
The beauty of creations glory
All lay in limbo in my bank of ideas
Short stories, snippets, devotionals
Written when a scripture sheds a light
Sonnets even attempts at ballads
All these come flying in at rapid paces
Only to be left in limbo in Microsoft at night
I wish I could fly to the writers circle in the sky
I wish I had the finesse to be one of the best
But I am me it’s all I know how to be
The beauty of the written word waiting to be heard
Will once again lay in limbo in the bank of my ideas.
Four books with three chapters each sit unfinished
Poetry constantly refined sits dissected again
Check the commits grammar is not a suit of mine
Not that they mean to be unkind, just right
So my friend once again I stand in the Microsoft delivery line
I use it all the time
It’s the sad attempt at a short story
Sally rose to the occasion; the class challenged her out of her dull life. Reading her writings before others always was for her an enjoyable experience. The poor people in this class actually paid to listen to her. Now that was a hoot. The teacher changed her formats agreeing with the writers club, that her sonnet needed to be rearranged.
It’s the sad attempt at an excuse
Sorry that’s all I have, I have been trying to catch up on my Beth Moore Bible study notes.
It’s the sad attempt of to bad so sad I’m here to stay
Give me five minutes I can entertain you, but past ten you’re yawning.
My grammar mistakes turn most of the intelligent people off. Even my mother wants to sentence structure my poetry.
I love to write, but my talent is in my eyes.
It’s sad that your stuck it’s just your rotten luck.
