And I see snow that is falling,
and everything is turning white.
And when the lights from the stars fall upon the snow,
it shines like a childs eyes,
when the gifts they see,
underneath the trees.
But I have found that Christmas, doesn’t really come,
just because of the snow.
And a childs eyes don’t really shine,
just because of the gifts, neath a tree.
Christmas is really a state of mind,
a feeling of Faith.
A strength that grows in one’s soul.
Christmas is the day of
our Lord’s birth.
A Blessed event for some,
like you and me.
But it has become a day that is cherished once a year,
with lights, song and gifts
neath a tree.
And then it is done.
Christmas should be carried
all year long.
Everyday, with prayers and with song.
Children should know
the love of our Lord,
and not just the gifts neath a tree.
We need to help their little eyes shine,
like the stars up above,
by showing them
God’s true love.
And God’s true love,
came from the birth of His Son.
So you see,
Christmas is never really done.
