Art can be defined in numerous ways, but I say that art is the expression of one’s heart. Art takes the viewer past the exterior into the soul of another. Art in itself is just a picture or a sculpture or a poem or a song, but behind the art lays the heart of a person.
Art is an expression of the deep thoughts that are captivating one’s heart that are unknown, unseen and often times untouched. The expression of art is that of one’s past, present or future.
Art can be expressed as pain, mourning or sorrow or art can be expressed as joy, happiness and excitement. Art is not limited to space or time, in fact art is not limited at all. Within each of us lies an artist, because we were created in the image of God and he is the greatest artist of all.
