Topic: Unsung Hero (12/07/06)
As I stood excitingly awaiting for the ceremony to begin, memories of my life on earth flashed through my mind. I remembered the countless situations that I waited for this very moment to occur. The day had finally arrived for all the faithful servants of the Lord Jesus to receive their rewards from His Heavenly Father. No earthly celebration could be compared to the divine elegance of this most Holy moment.
All the saints are here. Some were gathering in groups of those that they fellowshipped with while on earth. While others stood quietly contemplating the deeds of their life. Although I knew that I would receive a reward today, the excitement I felt came from a special place in my heart. I looked forward to the moment that I would witness two of my dear friends receiving their rewards.
My faithful friends, Kim and Chris could tell you better than anyone of my countless challenges in life. They walked along side of me. They cried with me. They held me and sometimes even carried me. In essence, they were holy examples of His Love created just for me. They gave when they did not feel like giving and confronted the very evil that constantly sought to devour me. Therefore, I longed for the day when I would see my dear friends rewarded from the very Lord who commissioned them to serve Him by serving me. I survived my trials on earth due to their service. I can now stand in Heaven as a result of their prayers. Now, I wait for the angels to sing the “Unsung Hero” song to my heroines.

This is a lovely concept and I have no doubt you will see it one day. I know you will be grateful forever for their prayers and support. Nice job on the story. Keep writing!

Very nice. You might want to consider dropping the several 'that'word as it would tighten it better and isn't really needed. Perhaps give a little story about how these friends made a differenc in your life too:) Keep writing!!
