Or the hands of man produce
Without the hands and heart of God
To direct and hone their use?
If a heart is ready and willing
To reach out to another
Do we understand it is God’s design
That we are keepers of our brother
Every act performed of service
Every word of kindness spoken
Every tender touch of healing
Every tear wept for the broken
These are the Love of our Father
His heart there manifest
As He uses willing vessels
Through which we’re often blessed
So as you volunteer your time,
Your home, your voice, your hands
Remember you are the Master’s
And His are the greater plans
Give honor to Him always
Making sure that others know
You glorify the Father
Not performing for a show
Rewards on earth are heady
And pedestals are high
But these rewards are rusting
And lowly we will die
Commit your work unto the Father
Seeking treasures not of earth
For those which come from Heaven
Bear true beauty and eternal worth
