She was such a tiny girl,
“Oh” so very small.
Her frame matched her height
Not being tall.
I remember when playing she
Pretended to be!
A gentle nurse to her dolls,
The best to see!
She grew into the sweetest girl as
Years went by!
She never complained, I never
Heard her cry.
She would be the first to help the
Very poor!
Then to those sick or dying her
Heart an open door!
The time came when she was led
By God’s hand!
To be a missionary across the sea
To a foreign land!
Her heart was sincere to obey, and
To serve the poor,
So in humbleness she accepted
Then obeyed once more.
Through the years she remained
Humble in God’s sight!
Her missionary heart was the flame
Both day and night!
Today she is considered to be a Saint
Admired by all.
Mother Teresa a true missionary with
A call.
