God walked with Adam and Eve
In the morning and in the evening
Till the day when Eve was deceived
Then out of the Garden God sent
Both Adam and Eve that day
I’m sure many tears were spent
As they labored hard day after day
The ground was cursed from that day on
With deepened sorrow, life was hardened
But the end is near, it won’t be long
We’ll reap the fruit in God’s Garden
But wait, the time’s already come
For us to enjoy God’s holy fruit
God’s Holy Spirit is at home
In our hearts, he’s taking root
We reap the love, joy and peace
Longsuffering and gentleness
Goodness and faith will not cease
Nor meekness and temperance will regress
We daily walk in the garden of
Righteousness and holiness
Every day God sends his love
His care, and grace in great excess
