strong and reliable
like a strong wall
sheltering my body and soul
Like a rampart
You surround me with
deep love and peace
You keep me company
when I am lonely
You protect me
from marauding enemies
who seek to depress
my spirit and soul
but they are no match to You
You shield me
from stray dangers
and unfriendly forces
that draw me away
from Your better way
You receive me
like a guest in a safe haven
a welcoming refuge
that I readily run to
in times of troubles and needs
May You increase
my faith and trust in You
who is my reliable rampart
and ever ready
to welcome me
You are my rampart
may I never depart
from Your loving presence
and life gifts I truly need
love joy and peace
Indeed You are my rampart
that always protects
and shields me from unknown harm
and unexpected dangers
that go against Your perfect will
Accept Jesus as Your Savior Right Now and be Certain of Eternal Life.
