FROM THE MOUTHS OF FAITHWRITERS…
In celebration of Mother's Day, this question was posed to a few, select FaithWriters:
If money were no object, and you could buy or do one thing for your mom this Mother's Day, what would it be?
Here are some of their answers:
"I would gather the entire family for one day. Not just my siblings and their children, but her surviving siblings as well." – Tim Chezum, husband, father, writer, and dedicated FaithWriters member
"If money were no object, I'd buy my mother a house on the coast where she could retreat when she felt life closing in on her. I have a feeling she'd use it a lot in the next year or so." – Lauren Bombardier, FaithWriters member and frequent challenge participant
"If money were no object and it had to be something "material" I'd get her a house cleaner. I'd also probably get her a chef, at least for the family gatherings. If we are talking about more "impossible" things, I'd give her peace of mind that all three of her children are safe. I'd also give her about 5 extra hours per day so she could have some time for herself. She's a preschool teacher and works either in the classroom or on class preparations most of the time she's awake. Still in the "impossible" realm, I'd give her the assurance that everyone she knows will be in heaven someday." – Allison Egley, recent college graduate and FaithWriters 500 member
'Til next month, go hug your mother, your grandmother, or any important mother-figure in your life and tell her how special she is!
You are special too! Thanks for your prayers and support of the FaithWriters ministry.
This spring may you grow and blossom in your writing as you cultivate your gift. Keep writing for the kingdom!
