An award-winning journalist, editor, and author of Home Sweet Homeschool: A Survivor’s Guide to Giving Your Kids a Quality Education (Revell 2004), Sue also edits the Christian parenting magazine, Bullseye. She has written for Christian anthologies and magazines and speaks for parenting and women’s groups on request. Her wonderful husband Chris has put up with her for more than forty years. For twenty-four of those years he supported her in homeschooling their eight kids from birth through high school. He then cheered her on as she completed her own diploma and earned her degrees. The kids are all gainfully employed and/or married college graduates, and some of the girls have chosen to homeschool the next generation. Alongside most of the kids (and the sixteen grandkids and counting), Chris and Sue are active in evangelistic outreach and teaching at their church home of more than thirty years, The Door Christian Fellowship in Tucson, Arizona. Sue’s words of faith and encouragement embody her gift of helps (I Corinthians 12:28) as she reaches out to young ladies, moms, grandmas and writers, empowering them to find Joy in the Journey as they realize their potential in Christ.
