Follower of Christ, Wife, Mom, Teacher... Jesus says in Matthew 5:6, "God blesses those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." God has a sense of humor as He blesses me in my quest to hunger for the Lord and to learn. Sometimes He teachers me through boogies on the gym floor where I teach; sometimes He teaches me through the children He has blessed me with to raise; sometimes He teaches me through the marriage that He has asked me to make a priority only second to Him. But He always teaches. These posts are my journey as I seek our Savior. Funny, serious, often overly sentimental and verbose, they are my catharsis and my way of understanding the lessons He's teaching. They are not meant to be expert advice but only a window into my soul. If my trials and laughs can encourage someone else in Jesus, the fear of opening my psyche is worth it. Happy reading! Amanda
