Melody is a writer with two passions in life: sharing her faith with lost souls and writing. She has been published since 2007. Since graduating from the LongRidge Writer's Group course, Break Into Print a few years ago, she has written numerous award winning essays and articles that have been recognized by NASA, NPR and a regional magazine in the Houston area. She is currently working on her first book (West Bow Press) and has several others outlined and ready to write in the future. She is the mother of two grown daughters, grandmother to six grandchildren and happily married to her high school sweetheart. In her day job, she works for a major aerospace company under contract toe NASA on the International Space Station Program. She hopes to retire in the next three to five years and support herself full time with her writing. She is looking forward to making friends with many other Christian writers here on Faith Writers and sharing her writing with the world.
