Sadly, it took too many years for me to realize that if our relationship with the Lord feels like work; then our perception of God is amiss. I made a course change at the age of 50, finished college and completed a masters. I now work as a case manager for an emergency shelter for at-risk youth and write for a small educational company in Texas. I hope to be able to encourage other Christians by sharing some of the peaks, valleys, and paradigm shifts I encountered while struggling with believing God was always mad at me for many years. I hope my writings encourage Christians to know that God's love, grace, and mercy are always there for the taking no matter where we find ourselves in life.
