I was raised Christian and have loved God all my life. I was homeless for more than ten years and was twice struck by moving vehicles. I know that God has a plan for me and I am grateful to be alive. I starting writing poetry while I was living in an abandoned truck as a way to help me to understand what was happening in my life. I stopped writing poetry for about three years after almost dying when I was struck the second time by a car. God has me writing, reading, walking and riding a bicycle again after injuries which placed me in a comma for almost two months and should have left me unable to walk, much less ride a bicycle. I think God's plan is for me to share where God has brought me from and to give others a different way of looking at those who are homeless.
