I cannot even begin to look back on my life without seeing God's hand in it from the start. He has always been there every step of the way, and I know that He always will be. More recently, He's shown me just how perfectly He orchestrates everything, and how perfect His timing is. He certainly makes everything beautiful in its time, (Ecclesiastes 3:11). I'm not going to recount everything that God has brought me through, but he's taken me through a lot. Over my life, I have learned that if you keep things in the shadows, then they can they be tested by the light of truth. I also learned that sometimes you have to be broken down to be built up. And that sometimes you need to reach a point of desperation to realize just how much you need God. Desperation brings us to the realization that nothing is possible without Him. What God has done in my life is amazing! I owe everything to Him. It is a prayer that when people see me, they see my journey, and through my journey, that they would see God in every step. Because I know that He never left my side. It is by His hand that I am here, and by his strength that I can go on. By His grace, I am saved and by His mercy, I am forgiven. By his work on the cross, I have victory. By His truth, I have been set free. Through the many trials and storms I have been through, I have come to be very aware of this truth: The only stability you can every truly have is Jesus. He is the only rock that cannot be shaken. He is the only constant in life. And He is everything that you will ever need. Currently I'm in college with a major in Bible/Theology. I'm looking to transfer and to take up a Writing major or minor and possibly change the Bible/Theology to Biblical Counseling. In the future I see myself a wife and mother, as well as an author, speaker, and counselor. My heart is for the broken and the hopeless and hurting, and I pray that God will allow me to minister to them to bring them into his wholeness and healing. ♥ I cannot wait to see where God will take me!
