Being married to a Government Engineer, the proud mother of three, and the "Bubbey" of one precious little 2 year old granddaughter, life has been busy to say the least. After marriage, I attended local colleges, never quite sure of my direction, graduated from an accrediated nursing school, still searching for life's pathway, but trying to do this searching 'on my own.' Not long ago, I sat down and allowed God to speak to me through His Word and some startling relevations became crystal clear. Fully surrendering to His will for me, with faith in Him as my only guide, I have let God show me His will for my life. God began leading me in the direction He wants me to travel, and life has now allowed me the opportunity to pursue this new pathway. I have been a Director of Music/Organist at various churches in Virginia for the past 30 years. Currently I am the Director of Music at my church where I am happily involved in all aspects of our church family. Serving God has never been an option, it has been a way of life for me from the time I was a child. It just took me a while to stop putting my own opinions above what God wanted for me in my own life. But that is another relevation I will expound upon in a different writing. We happily reside in the beautiful, colorful and tranquil state of Virginia, also know as "The Old Dominion." With our children on their own now, we are the happy "parents" of three dogs (Smokey, Benji, and Goldie), and two cats (George and Russell), who each think they own us! Come to think of it, maybe they do !!
