I am a Christian, husband, father, son, American. I take all of those descriptions literally and seriously. They make up who I am. They are the reason for my call. America's families are at the heart of my call. As I watch the family institution crumble around us, I see its direct impact on our nation as a whole. As was the case with Nehemiah, I see my call as helping America rebuild by equipping families, enlightening churches and other concerned citizens in local communities and, finaly, encouraging lawmakers to seriously consider the effects of public policy on families by providing detailed research, and by acting as an advocate for families and faith-based organizations with local, state and federal policymakers. I look forward to joining forces with writers and advocates all across this great land as we, together, help rebuild America's walls.
