David Olawoyin is the writer and publisher of the “BrookKidron Herald,” an independent and freely distributed Christian publication (mostly via email). He is the author of the book, “We Shall Reign: The Promise of the Millennial Kingdom,” the first instalment of a trilogy that presents a novel, biblical perspective of the Millennium. The other two parts, “Another World Order” and “Aspiring to Reign,” are impending. His articles include “Thy Kingdom Come,” “Rapture in Surgery,” “The Horsemen Are Riding,” “The Original Purpose,” “The Desert Monster” (originally “The World in 2050”), “Pound Wise” and “Another Time” (a short story version of the We Shall Reign trilogy that he has a dream of developing into a novel).
A hearing challenge he encountered early in high school was the vehicle providentially used to propel him into broad reading, deep study, extensive contemplation and, inevitably, the further development of his always recognised literary flair. And while he faithfully looks forward to overcoming the challenge in the present time, it has also boosted his imagination and added a unique dimension to his writings, which have attracted some really impressive accolades. He is a graduate of the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a member of the online FaithWriters network. He is also the initiator of an ongoing proposal for a Covenant Literary Initiative (COVLIN), which has the broad ranging vision of discovering, nurturing, networking and bolstering the development of gifted Christian writers in Nigeria, and ultimately all Africa.
